A trusted agency behind an outdated website
L.B.’s Realty Services is a family-run Barbados agency that has been matching buyers, sellers and tenants with property since 1993. Its website had not kept pace with the business.
The old site was visually dated and spread listings across a maze of menus and dropdowns. Prices were shown in US dollars only, with a note asking visitors to work out the Barbados dollar figure themselves, and the experience on phones fell well short of what overseas buyers expect.
The brand itself had also aged. The logo and typography no longer reflected a calm, considered agency working at every price point, from Platinum Coast villas to island land.
A modern, responsive property site with a refreshed brand
- Refreshed the brand: updated the logo, introduced new typography and a new colour palette, and carried them consistently across every page.
- Rebuilt the site from scratch as a modern, responsive WordPress website on Elementor Pro, with properties managed as a dedicated listing type.
- Built a property search by purpose (buy or rent), region, property type and bedrooms, plus browse-by-region pages for the West, South, North, East and Central parts of the island and a map view.
- Let agents enter prices once in Barbados dollars while visitors switch the display between BBD, USD, GBP and EUR.
- Added agent profiles with direct numbers, saved properties for buyers and a clear ‘List with us’ route for sellers and landlords.
- Developed a custom plugin that turns the agents’ printed business cards into digital calling cards hosted on the site.
- Set up Google Analytics 4 and Tag Manager and Rank Math SEO, and put a simple process in place for the team to send new listings and photos for publishing.
A website that matches the agency’s reputation
L.B.’s Realty now has a modern, mobile-first property website that looks the part and makes it easy for local and overseas buyers to find the right corner of Barbados.
Buyers see prices in their own currency, listings are organised the way people actually search, and the agency has the analytics in place to measure enquiries as it grows its marketing.
